This achievement marks a significant milestone for Moroccan breaking and sets the stage for their participation in the first-ever Olympic breaking event.

In a thrilling final held at the Mohamed V Theatre in Rabat, Morocco, Elmamouny showcased her exceptional breaking skills and triumphed over South Africa’s Midian Leah. The intense battle concluded with Elmamouny claiming a 2-1 victory, securing the gold medal and the Olympic quota.

Billy Prevails in the Men’s Final

Maessone and Chakib Secure Bronze Medals

Prior to the finals, the battle for the bronze medals took place. Throughout the summer, continental competitions, including the European Games in Cracow, Poland (21 June - 2 July), the Asian Games in Hangzhou, People’s Republic of China (23 September - 8 October), and the Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile (20 October - 5 November), will allocate Olympic quotas in each gender category. Athletes from various regions will have the chance to earn their place at the prestigious Paris 2024 Olympics.
